Who may use the service?

The data intermediation service is intended for different categories of users who wish to provide, use, or complement data in a legally secure manner and is open to natural and legal persons, provided that the applicable requirements are met.

Data holders

Data holders may be natural persons, companies, or organisations that control data and wish to share it with third parties in a controlled, purpose-bound, and transparent manner without losing control over their data.

Data users

Data users include companies, public authorities, research institutions, or other organisations that are entitled to use data for clearly defined purposes and that meet the applicable contractual, technical, and legal requirements.

Service providers

Service providers may offer additional services such as data processing, analytics, validation, or transformation via the intermediary, provided that they comply with the service catalogue requirements as well as the applicable data protection and terms-of-use policies.

General requirements

Use of the service requires successful registration, submission of the required self-declarations, and acceptance of the applicable contractual terms, with requirements varying depending on the user role.

Grounds for exclusion

Users who do not meet the legal, contractual, or technical requirements or who violate the terms of service may be excluded from the service.
